Lastly, the High-Output version of the 3.0L Hurricane motor achieves 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque. Compared to the previous years of the Ram 1500 that utilized HEMI®powertrains, these new Hurricane engines offer more exhilarating performance across the board, and the 11,550-lb. maximum towing capacity3 of this model isn’t an aspect that can be ignored either.
