What are Independent Service Centers?

A service center that is classified as independent are those that are not endorsed or supported by any specific manufacturer or car maker. These shops might be considered mom and pop shops, they are often not franchised in any way, and they are often smaller than most service centers that are certified. These service centers are also not likely to be attached to any sort of car dealership or larger service center.

These shops are often going to be cheaper for some services than a certified dealership but that does not mean that they are necessarily better. This is a great option for small and easy services like an oil change for example, but if you are having something bigger done or having warranty work done, it might be better to look for a certified service center.

What are MOPAR Certified Service Centers?

These are service centers that are certified by MOPAR and that are authorized to sell MOPAR parts and do warranty work. These service centers are going to be able to do warranty work, to replace MOPAR parts, and to do a huge range of different tasks that are related to your car. This type of service center is best for larger services that do have the potential to do damage to your car if they are not done correctly or they are not taken care of. For those that have a car that is still under warranty, those that have a new car, or those that are expensive, finding a great MOPAR service center is going to make a big difference in the overall quality and type of service you have done.
